Condolences to the Elkins' family:
I have felt it a privilege over the past 10 years to meet and visit with your parents at the Alumni Banquets, by mail and telephone to Wynona and again with Brodace at my shop and in my home.
Rev. Brodace was editor of the 1938 MHS Yearbook which still rates in the top 2% of all the yearbooks published at Mangum High. From stories I've learned, that was the beginning of his career at OU dealing with the publishing aspect of that yearbook. He accomplished so much in life with the constant companionship of his wife, Wynona, also a MHS 1939 graduate and teacher. Their love of Greer County and Mangum has bolstered several non-profit organizations: The Old Greer County Museum, The First United Methodist Church, The MHS Alumni Association and the Mangum Education Foundation.
The Elkins have left a legacy through their children, grand children and family still living in Mangum. We will all cherish their memories and remember their time on Earth helping others.
God Bless all of you and safe traveling back to your homes.

Please take comfort from the promises at Isaiah 25:8 He will do away with death forever. And the Soverign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces. A reality to soon be here on earth.

Dear Howard and Nonette,
Our family was saddened to hear of your father's death. Our family loved him so very much. He played such an important part in our family's lives by baptizing our children, confirming their faith and participating in Tracie's wedding. We have so many good memories of your dad and of your mother. We loved them so very much! Our thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family. God bless you. Lovingly, Evaline

El Paso, Tx.,
I'm so sorry for your loss. I can't imagine how difficult it must be for you all, his loving and caring family and friends. Just remember that God reassures us in Acts 24:15, "There is going to be a resurrection". Never forget that that one day Brodace will be with us once again.
